Hey, all fellow zeliarders! As you may know, many brave fans of zeliard went to make a remake, but no one came ever back...
I'm not going to change much in zeliard. But i'm thinking to add the possibility to add/change maps, tiles, dialouge etc.
Maybe some time soon...

New maps, graphics and maybe a few extra items (new storyline would rock as well) is about all I'd like to see in a remake/sequel. If anyone would be willing and able to do that, I'd probably be the first one to play it .

Actually, if anyone has some good editor software, I'd gladly do the mapping.

My computer's power supply went, so i won't be able to work on the project for a week or so. I've been working on the Map editor for quite some time, so if you're interested, Jashiin, i will send it to you when it's done. The specs for the "Tech Demo" should be something like: OS: Windows XP* , Windows 98/Me, Windows Vista? Cpu: 400-800 MHz, 2.8 GHz*. Memory: 64 Mb, 1Gb*. Video card: Nothing special. Hard Disk Space: 16Mb (At the moment, could be larger). * My PC's specs. If anyone would be so kind to make me a tileset of the first town and dungeon by making screenshots and copy/pasting 16x16 tiles to a new image file (PNG) so that the mapping would be more easy. (Note that i'm using the 16 color version aka. "EGA") Any questions regarding the project should be sent to: methos2142@gmail.com

I like the idea of a remake, but a parody would be funnier^^, how can you parody Zeliard? I have no idea, with cutscenes?

A sequel would be the best choice, but I doubt we could gather an active team of developers with enough experience to do it. I'd gladly help out though, where I can, but there needs to be a foundation to contribute to in the first place.

I thought I should check in... The progress is slow, but it's moving. Right now I'm making the program interpret script files, which is the hardest thing to do. Any help would be great, just contact me on either my email or through pm. (Seriously, any help would be great)
... Checking out

Unfortunately I haven't been working on the project for a while. But I'm going to now.
I'm just redo everything I had before and just put some demo for you guys to play around with.
I'll just need:
Map Parse (I'm just gonna change it a bit to support more tiles) Player (I need to write the code) Tiles (I've got some already) Background (I got the hills)
And also I'm gonna "port" it from DirectX to OpenGL (A major change)
NOTE: All graphics are takes from the original game using screenshots, so they suck.
PS: I'll add a level editor in the alpha demo.
