Hey Guys, This is really a cool website. Finally one that’s not abandon. I want you all to know that i am (euuh..trying) to remake the full Zeliard to Flash. Not with better graphics, not with better sounds, just the way it is, which is just perfect. I am doing some research about the game design, and I already have a little intro, and the beginning of one town. You can even get in to the weapon shop. (And yes...the guy is still very annoying with his finger). You can visit me, and the game, on www.zeliardflash.tkHome speak to you all soon. Kind regards, Jashiin - Stickied.

Looks quite amazing.
Btw, if you notice, the background doesn't move in the real game. I also suggest that you try reverse engineer Zeliard, in order to find out all the info you need to make it a 1:1 experience.

I am still creating the town, and creating multi layers is one of them. I am currentl working on a universal diaglog in the shops. What do you mean btw with reverse engineer?

This would be awesome, mate. Looks promising, just like old times. How long have you been working on it? Hoping to some day see the full version.
My "modern" computer can barely run any old games, let alone DOS-based. Problems with the graphic card, DOS emulation, all sorts of crap. So I'm really glad to see this kind of thing. Keep it up mate!
Now, let's just hope one of the "modern" remakes/sequels makes an actual appearance. People, don't give up on what you're working on, there may only be a handful of us who even remember this classic, but we love it!
EDIT: I suppose he meant by "reverse engineering", digging into source code and such?

Weapon shop is bugged for me, and I can't exit the first scene. Loving the music conversion though.
I actually forgot to sticky this /facepalm. Keep up the great work man.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but you should be able to - you're moderator. It's not my board, it's supposed to be a community, I just came up with the idea About this idea, it makes sense but I'd have to vote no - the problem is you're meant to "earn" that gold "first" and then of course get sellback. Also how would someone know the exact resale prices of his current items at all times? Usually you'd spend quite a lot of time on a level exploring, collecting keys and money before being able to get the "top end" items offered in that town, and with this idea that would change. Not that the resale prices are very high, but still.

Hey Jashiin, I mean an extra topic for only Zeliard Flash. In the main channel you have under "Projects and Contributions" the folder "Zeliard Projects". it would be very cool to add a new folder "Zeliard Flash" If it can't be done, no problem. I could make one on www.zeliardflash.tk, but that would take some time. And i preffer to put this time in something else

I think it belongs in a sub forum along with all other creative works based on zeliard - remakes, sequels, sites, guides, spin-offs and basically everything else of that sort. I'm not sure it needs a separate section by itself, and I think it's where it should be. Unless it's a big problem. And you have moderation access on this whole part of the board, so you can arrange it a bit to your liking and the needs of your work, but if you will insist and people would like to see a new board - I'll make one, no problem. For now, let's keep it like this. Ok?

to reverse engineer - the act of reverse engineering.
Reverse engineering is when you take the original executables, disassemble them into human readable Assembly, and then read the code in order to understand what makes the program tick.
Since, to my knowledge, Zeliard is a closed source program, you will not be able to just use the original source code. (If you're interested, you can start with the disassembler IDA pro. Zeliard is a dos app, so it's in MZ format)
Also, I don't really see any reason for a sub forum just for this particular project, because there aren't enough topics created about this project. (All personal opinion, of course)
