Well, I've searched in the Internet for a while and I've noticed no one has done or finished a 3d version of Zeliard, all the projects I've seen are dead, so, I'm making a new one, using Unity3d as engine, I've started a couple of days ago remaking the game, and I could really use some help, I work every day with almost no progress at all, so if you want to make things faster then you will help me. Visit my blog for more information. zeliard3d.blogspot.com/

Stickied. How's it coming along? I think you guys should simply team up and start working on the same thing. All the while, would you be interested in working on a MMO-type Zeliard game instead? It has not been put into development, but it's my brainchild. I have loads of ideas at the ready, been working on that for about a year. But I have no programming skill or other software. In any case, welcome aboard! I'll give you project-admin rights on the forum. It's quiet as you can see, but hopefully we can get around to these together and help each other out. I'd be so excited to see something come to fruition .

Yeah, very quiet, lol...
Right now I'm waiting for the next version of the engine I'm using (Unity 3d), so the project is dead for now... you mean teaming up with Kaio right?.. that would be cool but he seems to be dead, I hope he returns.
Well I've never worked on mmo's before, could be fun, tell me what do you have in mind and I'll see what I can do, keep in mind that I'm just a beginner, so don't expect too much from me...

Yes, it would be awesome if all of us with the interest for this kind of project to unite and keep something up until fruition. Also, it doesn't really matter whether you're a beginner - it's a non-profit, spare time project anyway. Just something out of love for the game, but I do know how much it takes to develop an MMO.
I can't offer much myself except good ideas on how things should look, as in quality creative development. Getting that done, however...

Well, making a good mmo, I suppose it could take years... I did some research and it looks like the engine I use is capable of making MMO's (good thing because it's the only engine i know how to use), so I definitively can help you, I guess the hardest part would be getting a server...

Yes, that's true, however, judging by the speed other things die out here, it would probably be done before then . It would also require a lot of people to work on it, and is not the type of game for leisure-tme development. However, what's to stop us from having a go at it? Personally, it would be a dream come true, and I've written a ton of potential material anyway. Is anyone else interested in participating in this kind of thing?

captainbarnaby198 I think you should start using a computer if you can. Either your phone is being unkind to you, or your posts are very strange... In any case, this specific 3D Zeliard project started in 2012 and the blog has unfortunately vanished. In fact there are currently no active Zeliard projects. See my "not a project" thread for some promising stuff though. I could do with artists, designers & writers if anyone wants to get involved. What I have currently is the capability to build an engine, good music resources and good sound resources. But that's not enough to make a game, and I think it would be cool to do something new rather than just redoing what we've all played a billion times.

Hey Hugh, Posted in your thread regarding your idea. I'd say a modern version of what we've played a billion times would be the best of both worlds because it would eliminate the problem of it being a dated 30 year old game with crap graphics and limited mechanics, while keeping the familiarity which is important for "bonding" with the game, if you will. If you change too much you alienate your target audience, unless you're experimenting to reach out (and a passion project shouldn't be concerned with markets). Ultimately, you need a solid foundation to move forward, and once that's in place you can start to get crazy. But a Zeliard game should be firmly embedded in Zeliard lore and since there isn't that much to work with I'd like to integrate everything we have available and expand upon it. Subbed to you on YT btw. Great work

No need, I can see your mail. *eviladminpowers* It's good to be the king Emperor of Chaos I should have a bit more time on my hands over the weekend. Tomorrow's a national day off for us, but I need to get so much crap done outside work as I haven't been able to (summer season's basically my overdrive season). Weekend should be best if you're looking for a quick response and a longer conversation. PMing you my mail though so hit me up whenever and I'll do my best.
